Jayam Ravi Visits Tirupati With Girlfriend Kenisha - Is Marriage On The Cards?

Tamil actor Jayam Ravi, with his rumoured girlfriend Kenisha visited Tirupati to offer prayers at the world-famous Lord Balaji Temple on Monday.

The couple had darshan in the early hours, a visit that has fueled widespread rumors about their relationship status. In many South Indian traditions, particularly in Telugu culture (Ravi's mother of Telugu descent), a couple's visit to the Tirupati temple is closely associated with marriage-either to seek blessings for a union or to offer gratitude following the wedding.

This highly visible public outing is the latest in a series of joint appearances that have kept them in the spotlight since Ravi's separation from his wife, Aarti, last year.

Their first major public appearance together was in May 2025 at the wedding of producer Ishari Ganesh's daughter, where they were photographed in matching gold traditional attire.

Their growing number of joint engagements has led many to believe they are in a serious relationship, though they have yet to make a formal announcement. In early July, they attended a high-profile event in Chennai, where they maintained a discreet but cordial presence. Later that month, they drew public criticism for a meeting with Sri Lanka's Foreign Affairs and Tourism Minister as part of a tourism initiative, which was condemned by Tamil activists.

The couple has faced online backlash, with some commentators accusing Kenisha of involvement in the breakdown of Ravi's previous marriage-a claim alluded to in now-deleted social media posts by Aarti Ravi. Despite the controversy, their continued appearances together have led to intense public and media speculation about their future plans.
