The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) reportedly asked the makers to tone down the sensual visuals by 50% - which means about 9 seconds of Kiara's bikini magic from the Aavan Jaavan song are now gone, according to a report in Bollywood Hungama.

Ever since glimpses of Kiara in a bold bikini hit the teaser and trailer, fans have been going wild. The song Aavan Jaavan gave them more of that glam-and-glow moment, and the internet pretty much exploded. Now, with the CBFC's scissors at work, the big question is - will her fans take this censorship lightly?

War 2 Worldwide Release

War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, is easily one of the most hyped films of the year and hits theatres on August 14. While the action scenes were left untouched, the board did demand a few other changes - muting some "inappropriate references" and snipping an obscene gesture.

Overall, six spots in the film were altered before it got its U/A 16+ rating on August 6.

The film originally ran for 2 hours, 59 minutes, but the makers voluntarily went back to the CBFC on August 8 and trimmed it down to 2 hours, 51 minutes for a sharper pace.

Now, whether that 9-second cut from Kiara's beachside glamour shot makes the movie "crisper" is something fans will decide - but judging by the hype, even a single second of her bikini scene would have been watched in slo-mo by many.
