Ever since rapper Chandan Shetty announced his separation from ex-wife Niveditha Gowda, he has been focusing heavily on his career.

However, rumors have surfaced suggesting that Shetty is preparing for a second marriage, with speculation that he would marry actress Sanjana Anand in a grand ceremony soon.

Chandan Shetty has now addressed these rumors, dismissing them as false. In an Instagram post, he clarified, "FAKE NEWS .. please stop spreading false information .."

Shetty and Niveditha Gowda's love story began during their time on Bigg Boss Kannada 5. After dating for a few years, Chandan famously proposed to her at Mysuru Dasara in 2019, which stirred some controversy at the time. The couple eventually got married in February 2020.

In June 2023, Chandan and Niveditha announced their separation. In a joint statement, they shared, "Today, we, Chandan Shetty and I, have ended our marriage legally on good terms and mutual understanding."

The couple requested privacy during this time and expressed their respect for each other despite the separation.

"We ask for support from the media, our friends, and fans who have always stood by us to respect our decision and privacy. Although we are parting ways, we still care for and respect each other. Your kindness, understanding, and encouragement mean a lot to both of us during this period," the statement concluded.
