'Indian 2' Box Office: Check Tamil Nadu, AP, Kerala, Karnataka Collections Break Up

Kamal Haasan and Shankar's much-anticipated film 'Indian 2' has encountered a lukewarm reception at the global box office, scraping past the Rs 100 crore milestone within its opening weekend. Despite the star power of Haasan and the directorial prowess of Shankar, the film failed to ignite significant buzz and faced challenges from mixed critical reviews.

On its third day of release, 'Indian 2' managed to amass approximately Rs 15.35 crore net across India for all language versions, as per Sacnik. The film's box office journey unfolded as follows:

Language Wise Break Up of Collections

First Day Collections: 'Indian 2' kicked off with Rs 25.6 crore in total collections. The Tamil version led with Rs 16.5 crore, followed by Hindi at Rs 1.2 crore, and Telugu at Rs 7.9 crore.

Second Day Collections: The film maintained momentum with Rs 18.2 crore, primarily driven by Tamil Nadu's Rs 13.7 crore, alongside Rs 1.3 crore in Hindi and Rs 3.2 crore in Telugu.

Third Day Collections: Despite a slight decline, 'Indian 2' garnered Rs 15.35 crore, with Tamil contributing Rs 11.35 crore, Hindi Rs 1.4 crore, and Telugu Rs 2.6 crore.

• Tamil Nadu: Rs 35.5 crore
• Andhra Pradesh and Telangana: Rs 16.9 crore
• Karnataka: Rs 7.5 crore
• Kerala: Rs 4.2 crore
• Rest of India: Rs 5.05 crore

Despite the film's struggle to make a resounding impact, its three-day collection in India totaled Rs 69.5 crore. The film's box office trajectory will continue to be monitored closely as it navigates further weeks in theaters.

Shankar's movie is funded by Lyca Productions. It has been in the making for years and finally saw the light of the day on Friday, July 12. It is a sequel to 1996 blockbuster 'Indian'. Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh are part of the cast.
