I Will Not Give Up, Will Challenge Every Allegation Against Me: Yuva Rajkumar's Estranged Wife Sridevi Byrappa

Sridevi Byrappa, estranged wife of Kannada actor Guru Rajkumar, has thanked the media and friends for respecting her privacy while stating that she will challenge every allegation made against her.

In her new social media post, Sridevi said, "I am profoundly grateful to every member of the media who diligently protected my dignity and respected my privacy, allowing me to spend time with my family for the last 15 days while I was in Karnataka.

To my dearest friends, whom I have known and cherished for decades, who became collateral damage in this ordeal. Your families and you have shown unparalleled understanding, elegance, and strength during this challenging time. I deeply regret any pain caused, and thank you again for your unwavering support. I hope everyone is fortunate enough to have friends like you."

She then claimed that her well-wishers including students' support has strengthened her will.

"The last 7 months have been extremely devastating. I am deeply grateful to everyone who reached out to console and affirm me-families, friends, the film community, everyone who stood by the truth, especially my students who cried and grieved with me. Your support has strengthened my will to fight for what is right. I pray I can return this love and kindness to each of you.

I want to reaffirm my unwavering belief in truth and justice. I will NOT GIVE UP and will challenge every allegation made against me," she added.

Sridevi Byrappa ended on a note that she is leaving to the US to continue her education. She concluded, "I am returning to the USA to continue working on my education project at Harvard. This time away will help me learn, grow, and heal. I will return home when the time is right."

Yuva Rajkumar, actor and grandson of the late Sandalwood matinee idol Dr. Rajkumar, has reportedly filed for divorce from Sridevi Byrappa on the grounds of cruelty under Section 13(1)(a) of the Hindu Marriage Act.

The hearing of their divorce petition is scheduled for July 4.

Yuva Rajkumar is the son of senior actor Raghavendra Rajkumar. His brother Vinay is also an actor in Sandalwood. Yuva had first made his debut as a child artiste in Upendra's blockbuster 'Om' starring his uncle Shivaraj Kumar.

However, there have been allegations of 'extra-marital' affair from both the sides. Notably, Guru's advocate made several accusations against her while actress Saptami Gowda was blamed for the trouble in his marriage.
