'I am safe...,' Singer AP Dhillon Reacts On Firing Incident Outside His House
AP Dhillon, a well-known Punjabi singer, recently experienced a distressing incident when unknown individuals fired shots outside his residence in Canada. The event took place on Sunday night at his house on Victoria Island, Vancouver, causing panic in the neighbourhood. Security agencies have since launched an investigation following the emergence of a video capturing the shooting.
Following the incident, AP Dhillon reassured his fans about his safety through an Instagram post. He expressed gratitude to those who reached out to him, stating, "I am safe, my people are safe. Thank you to everyone who contacted me. Your support is everything to me." The attack has been claimed by Rohit Godara, a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. According to Godara, shootings occurred in two locations: Victoria Island and Woodbridge Toronto.

Possible Motive Behind the Attack
Rohit Godara also suggested a motive for the firing. He claimed that it was due to AP Dhillon's recent collaboration with actor Salman Khan in a music video. This connection is significant as there was also a shooting outside Salman Khan's house earlier this year, allegedly orchestrated by the same gang.
AP Dhillon has gained international fame by blending 80s-style synth-pop with Punjabi music. His popular tracks include 'Brown Munde', 'Excuse', 'Summer High', 'With You', 'Dil Nu', and 'Insane'. His unique style has quickly propelled him to global recognition.
Previous Incidents Linked to Lawrence Bishnoi Gang
This isn't the first time the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been linked to such incidents. In November last year, they were reportedly responsible for a shooting at singer Gippy Grewal's house in Vancouver's White Rock area. Additionally, in April, there was another shooting outside Salman Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. Two men on motorcycles carried out this attack, and Mumbai Police have named jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and his younger brother Anmol Bishnoi as suspects.
The recent events highlight ongoing concerns about safety and security for public figures involved with certain groups or individuals. As investigations continue, fans and followers of AP Dhillon remain hopeful for swift justice and increased protection for their beloved artist.
