Housefull 5 Akshay Kumar Goes Undercover In Killer Mask To Hear Public Reviews Outside Theatre
The much-awaited comedy entertainer Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, hit theatres this Friday, featuring a star-studded cast including Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, and Sonam Bajwa. In a surprising move, Akshay Kumar decided to step out incognito to experience audience reactions firsthand.
Taking to Instagram, Akshay shared a behind-the-scenes video where he's seen standing outside a theatre in Mumbai's Bandra area, wearing the distinctive "killer" mask from the film to conceal his identity. Dressed casually in a shirt and jeans, Akshay was joined by a few others also wearing masks. The actor conducted impromptu interviews with moviegoers exiting the cinema after watching Housefull 5.

In the video, he can be seen casually asking people about the film. Most audience members enthusiastically responded that they enjoyed it-completely unaware that they were speaking to the film's lead star. Towards the end, one woman appeared to recognize him and excitedly began filming him with a big smile on her face.
Akshay captioned the post:
"Bas yun hi I decided to wear the killer mask and interview people coming out of the Housefull 5 show at Bandra today. Pakda jaane wala tha end mein but bhaag gaya usse pehle. Mast experience."
("Just like that, I decided to wear the killer mask and talk to people coming out of the Housefull 5 show in Bandra. I almost got caught at the end, but managed to escape just in time. It was a fun experience.")
Fans flooded the comment section with admiration and amusement. One fan wrote, "AK sir can do this," while another pointed out, "No cut in the video, fair public review." Some were surprised no one recognized his voice, and others wished they had been there to witness the moment. One follower joked that Akshay should've removed his mask at the end to surprise everyone.
Housefull 5: Box Office and Plot Twist

Adding a unique twist, Housefull 5 offers two alternate endings with different killers depending on the theatre where it's watched, adding to the excitement and replay value for fans.
Along with the lead actors, the film also features a large ensemble cast including Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Chitrangada Singh, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever.
