'Hanu Man' 1st Day Box Office Collection: Teja Sajja's Film Gets Good Opening
Prasanth Varma-directorial has garnered unanimous positive reviews from critics and audience. The multilingual movie was released worldwide on Friday and clashed with Mahesh Babu's biggie 'Guntur Kaaram'.
As per the trade buzz, the morning shows had over 55 per cent occupancy rate in theatres while the afternoon shows witnessed over 75 per cent. The evening and late-night shows witnessed a better response.

The early trends indicate that the movie might earn over Rs 21 crore on day one in India. With positive word-of-mouth, the Telugu flick which has Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in the leads, is likely to witness a superb collection in the next few days.
In India alone, the film has done a little over Rs 14 crore.
The movie is made with a budget of Rs 30 crore and the trade analysts are predicting the film to recover the investment in the first week itself.
"The actual cost of production of the film was approximately Rs 12 crores. But after the film got a good reception for its teaser which was released last year, they spent an extra ₹10 to ₹12 crores on polishing the VFX and improving the overall quality of the film," Republic World quotes trade tracker Sumit Kadel as saying.
He added, "So they went approximately Rs 10 crore over budget for the film but it's not a huge budget film like the A-lister star cast films made in Telugu cinema."
The trade tracker said that the advance booking for 'Hanu Man' has been good despite clashing with a biggie in the form of 'Guntur Kaaram.' Sumit continued, "It (Hanutan) will have a decent opening of approximately Rs 8 to Rs 10 crores across India. I'm talking about gross collection. And in the Hindi market also, it can do quite well if it gets a good amount of shows. I am assuming the film will open to approximately Rs 1 to Rs 2 crore in Hindi land which will be a great result."
