Groped, Kissed, Tried To Pull Down Underwear: Vin Diesel's Ex Assistant Makes Sexual Assault Allegations
A former assistant of Hollywood actor Vin Diesel has filed a lawsuit against him wherein he has accused him of forcefully groping, kissing and masturbating in front of her.
The incident occurred a decade ago in an Atlanta hotel room. The latest lawsuit has been filed in California, where the time frame for initiating legal proceedings in cases involving alleged sexual crimes has been extended.

The woman identified as Asta Jonasson has claimed that her first assignment after being hired by the 'Fast and Furious' star's company was to travel to Atlanta in September 2010 during the filming of 'Fast Five.'
In that situation, her responsibility was to assist Diesel in departing from a hotel during the early morning, after entertaining multiple women in a suite, all before the paparazzi could be alerted to his location.
"Alone in the hotel suite with him, Vin Diesel sexually assaulted Ms Jonasson. Vin Diesel forcibly grabbed Ms Jonasson, groped her breasts, and kissed her. Ms Jonasson struggled continually to break free of his grasp, while repeatedly saying no. "Vin Diesel then escalated his assault," the suit said, with the actor trying to pull down his assistant's underwear.
Jonasson escaped to a bathroom and Diesel pursued her and forced her to touch him. After pinning her against a wall, he masturbated in front of her.

The next day, Samantha Vincent, the actor's sister and president of One Race, the entertainment company that had employed Jonasson, purportedly made a call to terminate her employment.
"The message was clear. Ms Jonasson was fired for courageously resisting Vin Diesel's sexual assault, Vin Diesel would be protected, and his sexual assault covered up," the suit added.
The legal action is pursuing unspecified damages against Diesel, Vincent, and their respective companies.
Jonasson has chosen to forgo the customary right to anonymity granted to victims of alleged sexual abuse.
The global #MeToo movement has resulted in the accountability of influential figures in the entertainment industry for their abusive and predatory conduct. This movement gained momentum with explosive accusations against industry titan Harvey Weinstein in 2017, ultimately leading to his imprisonment on multiple sexual assault convictions.
However, Diesel's attorney Bryan Freedman has denied the the allegations and said that Diesel only learned about this more than 13-year-old claim recently and provided clear evidence refuting the accusations.
