Govinda And Sunita Divorce Rumours: Nephew Vinay Anand & Manager Break Silence; Here’s What Really Happening

Rumours about actor Govinda and his wife, Sunita Ahuja, heading for a divorce after 37 years of marriage have gone viral on social media. Speculation has been growing that the couple may separate. Now, Govinda's nephew, Vinay Anand, who is a well-known actor in Bhojpuri cinema, has responded to the reports, stating that both are adults capable of making their own decisions.

In an interview with ETimes, Vinay Anand said he was unaware of any issues between Govinda and Sunita Ahuja. He also mentioned that such situations should not arise. He further added that no one in the family had discussed the matter with him and that he preferred not to comment on their personal lives. Vinay stated, "They both are adult enough to decide whatever they feel. However, at the moment, it does not seem like anything is happening."

Earlier, a report published in ETimes suggested that Sunita Ahuja had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there have been no further developments. When asked about the rumours, Govinda did not address them directly. Instead, he stated that he was focused on his work commitments, particularly his new film projects. Sunita Ahuja reportedly did not respond to inquiries about the matter.

Govinda's manager, Shashi Sinha, acknowledged that there had been some difficulties between the couple. However, he clarified that these issues were caused by statements made by certain family members. He assured that efforts were being made to resolve the matter, adding that the actor was currently busy with meetings related to his upcoming film.

Meanwhile, Govinda's nephew, Krushna Abhishek, dismissed the rumours, insisting that the couple would not part ways.

In a previous interview with Pinkvilla's Hindi Rush, Sunita Ahuja revealed that she and Govinda live in separate homes. She mentioned that she resides in a bungalow opposite their flat, as her husband's work often keeps him out late. Her comments were widely shared online and misinterpreted. However, in an interview with Shirdi Today, she clarified that their relationship remains strong and that nothing could break their bond.
