Good Bad Ugly 4 Day Box Office Collection: Ajith Kumar's latest movie Good Bad Ugly has ended its first weekend on a high note with an impressive collection at the Tamil Nadu box office. The response to the movie has once again proven that he is the King of opening in Kollywood.

On its first day (Thursday), Good Bad Ugly made a thunderous opening by grossing ₹29.25 crore across India. This opening was fueled by strong advance bookings, a wide release, and heightened fan enthusiasm, particularly in Tamil Nadu, where Ajith has a massive and loyal following, as per Sacnilk data.

On Friday, the collection dropped to Rs 15 crore. Unless it is a holiday, the business usually drops on the second day. However, the response remained good in tier-1 and tier-2 cities in Tamil Nadu.

The collection saw a good jump on Saturday as the movie earned Rs 19.75 crore. Further, the movie registered fantastic business on Sunday by earing Rs 20.50 crore. This upward trend pointed towards favorable word-of-mouth and audience acceptance, especially among mass and rural audiences.

Thus it ended its first weekend collection at Rs 84.50 crore (nett) and the business clearly witnessed the audience's positive response to the Ajith-starrer.

Good Bad Ugly Sunday Response

As far as the occupancy rate is concerned, the movie had an overall 67.68% occupancy on Sunday. The morning shows had 52.10%. It jumped to 74.% occupancy for afternoon shows and it peaked to 76.79% occupancy for evening shows. It saw a slip dip for night shows as it registered 73.46% occupancy.

When looking at regional performances on Sunday, the film performed exceptionally well in Tamil Nadu cities. Chennai recorded an occupancy of 82.33%, with afternoon and evening shows nearing full capacity. Similarly, Trichy saw 83% occupancy, while Madurai and Pondicherry were both in the 74-75% range. Dindigul stood out with an astounding 90.33% occupancy, especially during evening hours where it touched close to 99%, indicating full houses in many theatres.

Coimbatore and Salem also showed strong numbers with over 64% occupancy, and Vellore and Kochi maintained a steady flow of audiences, hovering around 65-66%. The performance was slightly lower in Bengaluru, where occupancy was 42.67%, and significantly lower in Mumbai (31%) and Delhi NCR (23.67%), reflecting limited penetration in non-Tamil-speaking regions. This suggests that the film's appeal was mostly regional, concentrated heavily in Tamil Nadu and nearby southern cities.
