'GOAT' Advance Booking: Vijay's Film Mints Over Rs 50 Cr Even Before Release, Set For Earth-Shattering Opening

Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated action thriller 'The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT)' is set for a spectacular opening, following impressive advance ticket sales both domestically and internationally.

With less than a day until its premiere, 'The GOAT; has already amassed over 50 crores in advance booking collections worldwide, according to box-office tracking website Sacnik. This marks Vijay's second consecutive film to achieve such a significant pre-sale milestone, following the success of 'Leo' last year.

At present, the domestic pre-sales for 'The GOAT' have reached approximately Rs 23 crore gross, while the overseas sales amount to around Rs 27 crore, including premieres. The total opening day worldwide gross is projected to be between Rs 60 and 70 crore, setting the stage for a phenomenal debut.

The early trends suggest that 'The GOAT' is on track to open with over 100 crores worldwide, positioning it as Vijay's second film to achieve this feat. His previous film 'Leo', had a spectacular opening with approximately Rs 142 crore worldwide.

Trade analysts predict that The Greatest of All Time (GOAT) is on track to become the biggest Tamil film opener in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. The film has also received a strong response in Karnataka.

According to Book My Show, online ticket sales have reached 9 lakh, with projections indicating that the total could surpass 1 million by this evening across India.

Internationally, the film has already garnered $925K in North America, with positive responses reported from the UK and the Gulf region as well.
