Film Critic Taran Adarsh Admitted To Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai

Film critic Taran Adarsh, who is known for his in-depth analysis of television shows, films, and web series, has been hospitalized and his condition is not so good, according to media reports. The reports said Adarsh was not keeping well for the last one week and had been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

The news was shared by actor and critic, Kamaal R Khan on the micro-blogging site X (formerly known as Twitter). In his post, KRK said Adarsh had been hospitalized for a week.

"Since last one week, Critic #TaranAdarsh is in Kokilaben Hospital for his treatment. Pls Pray for him," reads KRK's tweet.

A close friend of Adarsh also confirmed the news stating "Yes! he (Taran Adarsh) is admitted to Kokilaben Hospital. The family would not like to comment."

Reports suggested that he underwent surgery.

Soon after the news of Taran Adarsh's health went viral, the critic took to Twitter and shared an update about his condition. He also thanked his followers and friends from Bollywood for showing concern.

"Thank you everyone for the concern and wishes... Had been battling a health ailment for several years now, but it got worse last fortnight... Underwent a surgery and am currently recovering at the hospital... God willing, I will be back to work soon... Thank you once again, genuinely appreciate the care and concern 🙏🙏🙏" reads a post shared by Taran Adarsh.

Filmmaker Ramesh Bala wished the critic for good health and a quick recovery.
