Express Feelings Responsibly: Allu Arjun Requests Fans Not To Revert To People Using Abusive Language

Allu Arjun, the well-known actor from "Pushpa 2," recently addressed the media following a tragic incident at Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad. During the film's screening on December 4, a stampede occurred, resulting in the death of a woman and her son being hospitalised. Allu Arjun faced criticism for allegedly not leaving the theatre despite knowing about the incident.

In response to accusations, Allu Arjun held a press conference on December 21. He expressed his sorrow over the tragedy and clarified that it was an accident. He stated, "It was an accident. I express my sympathy to the family. I do not want to blame anyone. This is my character assassination. Many wrong information is being spread. I apologise for whatever has happened. There was no roadshow, wrong information is being spread about this."

Allu Arjun's Appeal to Fans

The actor urged his fans to refrain from using abusive language online or offline. He emphasised responsible behaviour and warned against fake profiles claiming to be his supporters. Allu Arjun stated, "I appeal to all my fans to express their feelings responsibly as always and not resort to any kind of abusive language or behaviour, online or offline. If anyone posts abusive posts from a fake ID and fake profile by claiming to be my fan, then strict action will be taken against him. I request my fans not to engage with such posts."

The Telangana Assembly also discussed the stampede incident, with AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi criticising Allu Arjun's actions during the event. CM Revanth Reddy accused him of negligence for remaining in the theatre despite being aware of the fatality.

Legal Proceedings and Support

Following his arrest on December 13 related to the stampede case, Allu Arjun was initially placed in judicial custody for 14 days by a lower court. However, he was granted interim bail for four weeks by the Telangana High Court shortly after.

Despite legal constraints preventing him from visiting the victim's family directly, Allu Arjun released a video expressing his condolences and commitment to supporting them. His father, Allu Arvind, along with "Pushpa 2" director Sukumar, visited the injured child last week.
