Divya Sathyaraj Targets TVK Chief Thalapathy Vijay Again, Praises Thala Ajith & His Fans

Divya Sathyaraj has once again targeted actor and Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam founder Thalapathy Vijay, this time taking a swipe at the Ghilli star along with his fanbase.

Divya Takes Swipe At Vijay Again

In a recent social media post, she posed a question to her followers: She emphasized his respect for women, stating: "Whenever I'm asked this question, my answer has always been-'I like Ajith sir.' He is not just a phenomenal actor but also a man who deeply respects women. A devoted family man, he treats the women in his life with dignity, and his fans reflect these values. Ajith sir's followers don't resort to abusing women on social media; they carry themselves with grace and integrity. He would never endorse-or stay silent-if his fans threatened or disrespected women. He has helped countless people without seeking credit. Any leader who condones or ignores such behaviour is unworthy of being called a true leader."

While she did not name Vijay directly, her remarks about fans disrespecting women appeared to be a veiled criticism of the actor and his supporters.

This isn't the first time Vijay's fanbase has faced backlash. Earlier, several individuals were arrested for allegedly harassing a woman journalist who had criticized one of Vijay's films.

When Divya Targeted Vijay-Trisha

Last month, Divya had also criticized Vijay for allegedly travelling with actress Trisha to Keerthy Suresh's wedding. In a nearly 12-minute speech, she lauded the DMK's contributions to Tamil Nadu, particularly highlighting the legacies of former CM M. Karunanidhi and current CM MK Stalin. She also commended Minister Sekar Babu for his work.

While praising Udhayanidhi Stalin, she took another indirect jab at Vijay, saying: "I am proud to speak about Deputy CM Udhayanidhi Stalin. He isn't the kind of leader who rides in an AC caravan or sneaks off to weddings with a 'friend.' He isn't a 'naughty politician' but a hardworking leader who upholds duty, dignity, and discipline."
