Did Bigg Boss Kannada Fame Rajat Kishan And Vinay Gowda Mislead Police? Real Machete Still Missing
The legal troubles of Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda, two contestants of reality show Bigg Boss Kannada have escalated due to their involvement in making reels featuring a machete. On the night of March 25, the police escorted both individuals to the residence of the 24th ACJM judge in Koramangala. During the hearing, the judge ordered one-day judicial custody for both accused. Following the court's decision, Rajat's wife, Akshita, was seen in tears.

Night in Jail
After being remanded to judicial custody, Vinay and Rajat were transferred to Parappana Agrahara Jail in Bengaluru, where they spent the entire night. Reports indicate that their legal troubles could deepen as the investigation progresses.
Court Appearance Today
The police are set to present the accused in court again today (March 26) and are expected to seek a one-week police custody remand for further questioning. Authorities have reported that the machete used in the reels is missing, strengthening their request for extended custody to investigate the matter.
Bail Application
Meanwhile, both Rajat and Vinay are likely to file bail applications today. Their legal team is expected to argue for their release, but the court's decision remains uncertain.
The Controversy Over the Machete Reel
Rajat Kishan and Vinay Gowda landed in trouble after making a reel featuring a machete, which went viral. The police's frustration intensified when, during interrogation, the duo allegedly tried to mislead investigators by handing over a fiber-made mace instead of the real one.
Authorities have launched a search operation for the actual weapon used in the reel. Additionally, reports suggest that Rajat and Vinay attempted to mislead investigators regarding the whereabouts of the real machete.
Rajat Kishan's Defense
Before his arrest, Rajat defended himself, saying: "I made the reels for Vinay as an artist. It wasn't intended for any wrongdoing. The machete used in the reel was sent from the set, but since we were with the police, we weren't aware of which one was sent. We later found out that the original one was missing. I had no intention of misleading the police. If a prop is missing, we will return it. This was a misunderstanding."
The controversy stems from a reel featuring a machete, which Rajat and Vinay filmed during the 'Boys vs Girls' reality show. Given the seriousness of using a real weapon for social media content, the police swiftly registered a case and initiated an investigation.
During questioning, the duo was asked to produce the machete, but they handed over a fiber-made version instead. Authorities remain suspicious, as the original weapon remains unaccounted for. The court's decision on their bail and custody extension will determine their fate in the ongoing investigation.
