Dhanush, Aishwarya Rajinikanth Reunite To Celebrate Son Yathra’s Graduation | PICS INSIDE

Actor Dhanush and filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth were filled with pride and joy as their eldest son, Yathra, recently graduated from school.

Despite being officially divorced, the former couple came together to celebrate their son's milestone. Dhanush shared a few photographs from the graduation day, capturing the special family moment.

The two had previously reunited for their sons Yathra and Linga's sports day event as well.

On Saturday, Dhanush posted an image of Yathra embracing both his parents.

The actor and Aishwarya's expressions reflected their happiness and pride as they saw their son dressed in his graduation robe and cap. Dhanush captioned the post, "Proud parents #Yathra," followed by two heart emojis.

Dhanush sported a crew cut, paired with a white shirt and black trousers, while Aishwarya wore an elegant off-white outfit for the occasion.

Dhanush and Aishwarya had announced their separation on 17 January 2022 after 18 years of marriage.

They filed for divorce in April 2024, and it was granted in November the same year.

"18 years of togetherness as friends, couple, as parents and well wishers to each other. The journey has been of growth, understanding, adjusting and adapting.. Today we stand at a place where our paths separate," Dhanush had written in his statement at the time of separation.

He added, "Aishwarya and I have decided to part ways as a couple and take time to understand us as individuals for the better. Please do respect our decision and give us the needed privacy to deal with this."

Though no longer together, Dhanush and Aishwarya continue to co-parent their sons, Yathra and Linga, demonstrating their shared commitment to family.

On the professional front, Dhanush is preparing for the release of his forthcoming film 'Kuberaa', while also working on the post-production of his directorial venture 'Idly Kadai'.

Aishwarya Rajinikanth's most recent film was 'Lal Salaam', and she is yet to announce her next project.
