'Devara 1st Week Box Office Collection: Here's How Much Junior NTR's Film Has Raked In, So Far

Junior NTR's 'Devara' has successfully completed its first week run in theatres on Thursday. The action drama has done well in Andhra and Telangana in 7 days.

On its first six days at the box office, 'Devara' performed impressively, earning an estimated amount of Rs 208.35 crore at the domestic box office. As it entered its seventh day, the momentum continued, with over Rs 3 crore collected from morning and afternoon shows, as per Sacnik website.

7th Day Collection

The Telugu version of 'Devara' saw varied occupancy across its morning and afternoon shows. The morning shows registered a decent 14.23% occupancy, which grew to 19.54% by the afternoon. Among the cities, Hyderabad led the charts with the highest occupancy at 20.50% from 616 shows, followed by other key cities: Bengaluru (12.00% from 502 shows), Vizag (22.50% from 171 shows), Chennai (23.00% from 42 shows), and Vijayawada (10.00% from 133 shows).

The Hindi version of 'Devara had a low overall occupancy of 9.57% on Thursday. The morning shows accounted for a low 6.62%, but this rose to 12.52% by the afternoon.

The Kannada version of the film saw a much stronger response, with an overall occupancy of 22.59% on Thursday, October 3, 2024. The morning shows had a higher attendance rate at 24.54%, slightly declining to 20.63% for the afternoon shows.

Similarly, the Tamil version of the movie also performed well on Thursday with an overall occupancy of 14.36%. The morning shows saw 11.90%, while the afternoon shows improved to 16.82%.

Day 1 (Friday): The film opened with an outstanding ₹82.5 crore, led by its Telugu version with ₹73.25 crore. The Hindi version contributed ₹7.5 crore, while the Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions earned ₹0.35 crore, ₹1 crore, and ₹0.4 crore, respectively.

Day 2 (Saturday): Collections dropped by 53.70%, with a total of ₹38.2 crore. Telugu still dominated with ₹27.55 crore, followed by ₹9 crore from Hindi. Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam remained consistent with ₹0.35 crore, ₹1.05 crore, and ₹0.25 crore, respectively.

Day 3 (Sunday): The film saw a slight recovery with a 4.45% increase, bringing in ₹39.9 crore. Telugu led with ₹27.7 crore, and Hindi with ₹10.5 crore. Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam brought in ₹0.35 crore, ₹1.1 crore, and ₹0.25 crore.

Day 4 (Monday): Collections dropped sharply by 68.05% to ₹12.75 crore, typical of a weekday dip. Telugu earned ₹8.2 crore, Hindi ₹4 crore, and the other versions earned smaller amounts.

Day 5 (Tuesday): A small recovery occurred with collections increasing by 9.80%, reaching ₹14 crore. Telugu contributed ₹9.1 crore, and Hindi ₹4.25 crore, while Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions remained stable.

Day 6 (Wednesday): The film saw a significant boost of 50%, with collections rising to ₹21 crore. Telugu earned ₹13.55 crore, and Hindi ₹6.5 crore, with moderate contributions from the other versions.
