Darshan, Wife Defy Rumors, Spotted Together In Tirupati Following Pavithra Gowda's Controversial Pics

Two weeks after the controversy over the pictures shared by Pavithra Gowda, Kannada actor Darshan visited Lord Balaji temple in Tirumala in Tirupati.

The pictures of Darshan with his wife Vijaya Lakshmi and son Vineesh have gone viral. In the photos, the Challenging Star is seen offering prayers at the world-famous Hindu temple.

The couple has also visited the Kalahasti temple. A few friends of the actor had also accompanied him. Notably, BJP MLA Sathish Reddy is also spotted alongside Darshan.

His temple visits come days ahead of the actor's birthday on February 16. This is after a long time that Darshan is seen with his wife in public.

This visit has also put rumours of Darshan and Vijaya Lakshmi's marriage issue to rest.

On January 24, actress Pavithra Gowda triggered a controversy by sharing photos of her with Darshan with a caption - "One decade down; forever to go.♥️♥️ #10year It's been 10years of our relationship Thank you ✨✨ @darshanthoogudeepashrinivas @khushigowda_7."

In 2017, the actress's profile photo on Twitter and Facebook in which they were seen together had triggered a similar controversy. Following the backlash from Darshan fans, Pavithra had removed it.

On the other hand, Darshan's relationship with Vijaya Lakshmi had reportedly strained a long time ago. Their issues became public in 2011 when the actor had physically assaulted his wife, leading to his imprisonment for nearly a month until she withdrew the complaint. During that time, she had accused an actress of causing disturbances in her life before publicly apologizing for dragging the actress's name into the matter.

Vijaya Lakshmi had come down heavily on actress Pavithra Gowda over her controversial Instagram post. Darshan's wife retaliated with the photos of Pavithra with another man named Sanjay Singh. The former questioned the "moral standing" of the latter.

"I hope this woman has to come into her senses before posting somebody else's husband picture,it talks about her character and moral standing, knowing that the man is marrried she still choose to come and stay for their own personal needs and agenda... These images clearly show kushi gowda is the daughter of Pavithra and sanjay Singh....I generally don't take social media to raise voice over personal issues but I feel now it's time to raise my voice in the best interest of my family.... Will take strict legal action against people who are trying to give a different image to the entire society. @ Sanjaysingh @ Khushigowda @shaanvisamsuri pavithra Gowda," Vijaya Lakshmi said in her post.

Pavithra then responded that she has been happily living with Darshan for the last 10 years and also claimed that she has a daughter from her first marriage.
