A video of Darshan making public appearance after being granted bail in the high-profile Renuka Swamy murder case has caught the attention of the audience.
Welcomed on the Sets of Choo Mantar

In the said video, Darshan arrived on the sets of his upcoming Kannada film Choo Mantar, where he was greeted warmly by the team. A video capturing his arrival has gone viral on social media, showcasing the actor hugging co-stars Chikkanna and Sharan before interacting with the rest of the crew.

Fans have taken to social media to express their excitement and unwavering support for Darshan, flooding platforms with the viral video and messages of encouragement.

However, it seems to be an old clip released now for the movie promotion as Choo Mantar is hitting the screens on Friday.

Legal Troubles

Darshan's appearance comes after being granted regular bail by the Karnataka High Court on December 3. Earlier, in November, the actor had been granted bail on medical grounds.

Darshan, along with actress Pavithra Gowda and 15 others, stands accused in the murder of Renuka Swamy. According to the chargesheet, the victim allegedly sent lewd messages to Pavithra Gowda, which led to his abduction by associates of the actor.

The charges detail that Renuka Swamy was kidnapped, taken to Bengaluru, confined in a shed in Kamakshi Palya, and brutally assaulted, ultimately resulting in his death.

Darshan and Pavithra Gowda were arrested by Bengaluru police on June 11.

Career in Limbo

Before his arrest, Darshan was filming for his next movie, Devil. However, production on the film has stalled, and the project's fate remains uncertain as the actor has yet to return to the shoot.

Darshan's public reappearance and the support he has received from his fans signal his intent to move forward, even as legal proceedings continue. His future in the Kannada film industry, however, hinges on the outcome of the ongoing case.
