Lal Salaam Trailer Review

Vishnu Vishal takes on the role of the protagonist, a troubled Muslim character. He is portrayed as an alcoholic troublemaker, but a pujari predicts that he will bring honour to his village. Cricket becomes his sole path to redemption, but he is denied a fair opportunity.

"I have faith in the justice system. It's just those few corrupt individuals within it that I don't trust," Rajinikanth says in the trailer. As always, the superstar looks stylish.

Going by the trailer, the film appears to delve into the theme of religious harmony, a timely and relevant subject.

The Tamil flick, which will hit the screens on February 9, is directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth. Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth play the leads with Rajinikanth doing an extended cameo. Former Indian cricketer Kapil Dev is also doing a guest appearance in the flick which also has Vignesh, Livingston, Jeevitha, KS Ravikumar, Adithya Menon and others in the cast.
