The event saw the who's who of the film industry, including Nagarjuna, Aamir Khan, Upendra, and Sathyaraj, sharing the stage with the legendary superstar. The hype is real, folks!

At a pre-release event in Hyderabad, Rajinikanth dropped a massive compliment for director Lokesh Kanagaraj, comparing him to none other than SS Rajamouli. In a video message, the Jailer star said, "Lokesh is like Rajamouli here. Just like all Rajamouli films are a success, even Lokesh's films are all hits." High praise, indeed!

Chennai then witnessed a massive trailer launch, where Rajinikanth couldn't stop gushing about Nagarjuna's role as Simon in Coolie. In fact, Thalaivar admitted he wanted to play that part himself! "I like villain roles. Simon is very stylised. I was shocked when Nagarjuna agreed," he revealed, adding that the Telugu superstar didn't even think about the money-because he's "not that kind of person."
