Cocktail 2 Beats Box Office Expectations, Crosses ₹100 Crore Globally

Cocktail 2, featuring Shahid Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kriti Sanon, has wrapped up its opening week at the box office on a strong note.

Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics and audiences, the romantic drama has managed to achieve a significant milestone by surpassing the ₹100 crore mark globally within seven days of release.

As per trade tracker Sacnilk, the film earned ₹4.25 crore (India net) on its seventh day across 8,469 shows. The latest figure marks a decline of nearly 19 per cent compared to its ₹5.25 crore collection on Wednesday. After seven days in theatres, the film's total India net collection stands at ₹70.50 crore, while its India gross has climbed to ₹84.07 crore.

The film has also continued to perform steadily in international markets. It added ₹1 crore overseas on Day 7, taking its overseas gross collection to ₹25 crore. Combined with its domestic earnings, Cocktail 2 has now amassed an impressive ₹109.07 crore worldwide gross by the end of its first week.

Day 7 Report

On Thursday, the film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 13.42 per cent. Morning shows registered 9.31 per cent occupancy, which improved to 13.08 per cent in the afternoon. Although evening shows dipped slightly to 12.54 per cent, the night shows witnessed the best response of the day with 18.77 per cent occupancy.

Among the key markets, cities such as Mumbai, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Chennai continued to contribute the strongest audience turnout.

Having crossed the ₹100 crore worldwide milestone in just one week, Cocktail 2 has delivered a solid opening run. The film's box office trajectory over its second weekend will now determine whether it can sustain its momentum in the coming days.
