New Clue In Saif Ali Khan Stabbing: First CCTV Video Of Attacker Released
The first video of the attacker who allegedly stabbed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan in his Mumbai home has surfaced. In the footage, the suspect is seen staring directly into a CCTV camera while descending the staircase after committing the crime.
The 54-year-old actor was attacked early morning inside his 12th-floor apartment in Bandra. Saif sustained multiple stab wounds but is now "out of danger" after undergoing emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital, where he was rushed following the attack at around 2:30 am.

The alarm was raised by Khan's domestic help, who noticed the intruder entering the apartment. She sustained a minor injury during the scuffle. Saif reportedly confronted the attacker after hearing her cries for help, leading to a physical altercation.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the intruder likely sneaked into the apartment during the night without forcing entry or breaking in.
Khan's staff transported him to Lilavati Hospital in an auto-rickshaw after the attack. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, the hospital's chief operating officer, confirmed that the actor sustained six injuries, including two deep wounds.
"He suffered a significant injury to his thoracic spine caused by a knife. Surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid," the doctor explained.
The injuries included two deep wounds on his left hand and one on the right side of his neck, which were treated by the plastic surgery team. Saif was initially admitted to the ICU and is expected to move to a regular ward soon.
The actor's representatives described the incident as an "attempted burglary."
An FIR has been registered at Bandra police station under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita sections 311 (robbery with attempts to cause death or grievous hurt), 331(4) (house break-in or trespass at night), and other relevant provisions.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis addressed the incident, emphasizing that Mumbai remains one of the safest cities in the country.
"While such incidents must be taken seriously, they do not make Mumbai unsafe. The government will continue to take steps to ensure the city's safety," the CM assured.
