Blackmail Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad In GV Prakash's Film?

GV Prakash Kumar-starrer Tamil movie Blackmail will hit the screens on Friday. He has paired up with Teju Ashwini in the movie, directed by Mu Maran.

Srikanth and Bindu Madhavi have played key roles in the movie. Vettai muthukumar,Ramesh Thilak,Linga, Redinnkingsly,Tamil Shaji, and Haripriya Girija Hari are part of the cast. Sam CS has scored the music, Gokul Benoy's cinematography, SJ Ram's art direction, and San Lokesh's editing. Rajasekar has choreographed the stunt sequences.

Story:
Blackmail is a story inspired by true events. Prakash's character is a man who gets caught in a dangerous situation. He's initially forced into a risky child kidnapping, but the job quickly goes wrong. He soon finds himself entangled in a web of secrets, transforming him from the target to the one doing the hunting. Directed by Mu Maran, the film promises plenty of unexpected twists and turns.

The movie has managed to garner good pre-release buzz through its trailer although the makers have opted for low-key promotions. Will the Tamil movie live up to the expectations? Find out:

On the positive side, the film has a crisp runtime with an ensemble of actors . @gvprakash has done a good job as the lead actor. Liked his character which is stuck between good and bad.
Gokul Benoy's cinematography is a major plus of the film , it gives a Korean thriller flavour to the film. @SamCSmusic, the BGM specialist has also given what requires for the film.
