Bigg Boss Tamil 8 Elimination: Not Sachana, Sethupathi Evicts This Contestant In 5th Week

In a surprising turn of events, Bigg Boss Tamil 8 witnessed an unexpected eviction this week, as Sunita Gogoi has been eliminated from the reality show hosted by Vijay Sethupathi. Speculation was rife that Sachana might be the contestant shown the door this week, but contrary to popular belief, Sunita's journey have ended instead.

The nomination list was packed with formidable contestants: Arun, Vishal, Deepak, Pavithra, RJ Anandhi, Sunita, Muthukumaran, Ranjith, Sachana, Jacquline, and VJ Vishal all faced the risk of eviction.

Based on a poll conducted earlier in the week, Muthukumaran seemed the safest, having garnered the highest support with 24.63% (109,629 votes). VJ Vishal, who was facing his first potential eviction, came in second with 14.35% (63,854 votes), followed by Jacquline at 11.38% (50,642 votes).

Despite the safety net for the top-ranked contestants, the fate of those lower on the list appeared bleak. Deepak managed to secure 8.11% (36,078 votes), while Anshida barely escaped elimination with 6.33% (28,179 votes). Pavithra's tally stood at 6.13% (27,272 votes). At the bottom of the pack were Sachana, RJ Anandhi, Sunita, and Ranjith, each with less than 6% of the total votes, signalling their vulnerability.

Ranjith, despite having the lowest support at 5.68% (25,287 votes), managed to stay safe due to winning a nomination pass, adding another twist to the tense episode. This left the spotlight on Sachana, RJ Anandhi, and Sunita as the most likely candidates for eviction.

In the end, it was Sunita Gogoi who had to bid farewell to the show. Known for her vivacious personality and talents, Sunita is a well-recognized dancer and performer who has made significant contributions to Tamil television.

Hailing from Guwahati, Assam, she was born on September 11, 1991, and completed her education in her hometown before moving to Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Sunita's television career took off when she joined Jodi Number One Season 5 on Vijay TV, and she later secured the runner-up position in Jodi Number One Season 7.
