Bigg Boss 19 Buzz: Mallika Sherawat Responds To Viral Rumours With Firm Denial

Amid swirling speculation about the upcoming season of Bigg Boss, actress Mallika Sherawat has firmly denied all rumours linking her to the show. Taking to Instagram on Monday, the actress clarified that she will not be part of Bigg Boss 19, which is once again being hosted by Salman Khan.

Putting the rumours to rest, Mallika posted on her Instagram story: "Putting an end to all the rumours. I am not doing Big Boss & never will. Thank you (sic)."

With Bigg Boss 19 expected to premiere soon, reports have been buzzing about which TV and Bollywood personalities might enter the house. Mallika's name had appeared in multiple speculative lists, but she has now made it clear that she has no interest in joining the reality series.

Not the Only Celebrity Refusing Bigg Boss 19

Mallika isn't the only one refuting the rumours. Actors Daisy Shah, Ram Kapoor, and YouTuber Gaurav Taneja have also denied being a part of Bigg Boss 19.

Gaurav, in a recent vlog, addressed the rumours saying, "Arre bhai nahi jaa raha main Bigg Boss 19. Logo ne pareshan kar diya hai. Koi PR page hai usne lagadi meri photo ke main jaa raha ho aur bhi teen chaar log hai."
(Translation: "No, I'm not going to Bigg Boss 19. People have troubled me so much. A PR page used my photo saying I'm going, along with three-four other people.")

Reported Names for Bigg Boss 19

Despite the denials, several other names have reportedly been approached for the show. These include Neel Motwani, Arhan Ansari, Shashank Vyas, Khushi Dubey, Sharad Malhotra, Moon Banerjee, and Lataa Saberwal. However, official confirmation from the channel or the contestants is still awaited.

Mallika Sherawat's Recent Work

On the work front, Mallika Sherawat was last seen in the 2024 release Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, where she played a supporting role. Her performance in the film garnered attention despite the limited screen time. As of now, she has no officially confirmed upcoming film or web series projects.
