Bigg Boss, the highly anticipated reality show, is gearing up for its 18th season. Hosted once again by Salman Khan, the show has released its first teaser, which promises a thrilling ride packed with drama and unexpected twists. The teaser also revealed the theme of "Time Ka Taandav" and confirmed Salman's return as the host. Amid the buzz, a tentative list of contestants has been making waves on social media.

Bigg Boss 18 Contestants List (Confirmed):

• Nia Sharma: The well-known TV actress has finally decided to step into the Bigg Boss 18 house. She made a mark in reality TV by winning Khatron Ke Khiladi 8 with stellar performances. Currently, she's entertaining fans on Laughter Chefs.

• Dheeraj Dhoopar: With nearly 15 years in the television industry, Dheeraj is famous for his roles in Sherdil Shergill, Sasural Simar Ka, and Kundali Bhagya. He is presently seen in Rabb Se Hai Dua. Dheeraj was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10.

• Shoaib Ibrahim: Known for his role in Sasural Simar Ka, Shoaib went on to star in Ajooni and Ishq Mein Marjawan. He has competed in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 and Nach Baliye 8, where he placed first runner-up and fourth, respectively.

Deb Chandrima Singha Roy

A well-known figure in the Kolkata entertainment industry, Deb Chandrima Singha Roy has been officially confirmed as a contestant. She gained recognition for her role alongside Nia Sharma in the popular show Suhagan Chudail.

Actor Nyrraa Banerji, who participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi last year, is set to make her entry into the house this season. Joining her will be former actor Shilpa Shirodkar, sister of Namrata Shirodkar, wife of Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu. Shilpa, known for her roles in several TV shows and films, has been confirmed as a contestant.

Additionally, actor Meera Deosthale, who faced a controversy with a producer earlier this year, is joining the show. Actor Shezada Dhami, previously rumored to be part of Bigg Boss 18 after his sudden exit from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, is reportedly in the final stages of negotiations. Zaan Khan is also in talks for a spot.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 has released a new promo featuring Salman Khan's voiceover. The promo starts with Salman announcing, "Bigg Boss dekhenge gharwalon ka future. Ab hoga time ka taandav."

The caption for the post reads, "Hogi entertainment ki poori wish jab Time Ka Taandav lekar aayega Bigg Boss mein ek naya twist. Are you ready for Season 18? Dekhiye Bigg Boss 18, jald hi, Colors aur @officialjiocinema par."

Reports suggest that Bigg Boss 18 will revolve around a "Time Travel" theme, with some previous contestants expected to return.

According to NDTV, actors like Isha Koppikar, Shiney Ahuja, Gurucharan Singh, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Patel, Sameera Reddy, Surbhi Jyoti, Pooja Sharma, and Dalljiet Kaur are rumored to join the upcoming season. According to latest reports, Isha Koppikar has now opted out of Bigg Boss 18.

The show will have its premiere on October 6 at 9:00 pm.

The previous season of Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, premiered on Colors TV and Jio Cinema. The grand finale, which aired on January 28, 2024, crowned Munawar Faruqui as the winner, while Abhishek Kumar finished as the runner-up.
