How Bazooka Was Received By Audience On Day 1?

As per a Sacnilk report, the morning shows of the Malayalam movie had 40.82% occupancy. It saw slight improvement for the afternoon shows as it reached 43.90%.

The evening shows witnessed further improvement as it 47.73% occupancy rates while the night shows had 61.66% occupancy rates on the first day. Overall, the movie had 48.53% occupancy rates on opening day.

Regionwise Occupancy Rate

Among the centres, Kochi had an overall occupancy rate of 75.50% from 116 shows. Trivandrum enjoyed 52.75% occupancy from 93 shows followed by Kozhikode (66.00% from 67 shows), Thrissur (52.25% from 46 shows), Kollam (76.25% from 35 shows), and Alappuzha (45.75% from 32 shows).

Outside Kerala, the movie enjoyed a decent response in Bengaluru 25.25% from 132 shows, 45.00% from 26 shows in Chennai, 18.50% from 18 shows in Hyderabad, 26.67% from 23 shows in the NCR, and 15.00% from 39 shows in Mumbai.

Going by the trends, the Mammootty-starrer has earned Rs 3.25 crore (nett) at the India box office on the first day. With the movie getting mixed reviews, it has to be seen how it will perform at the box office in the next few days.

The story of the Malayalam movie revolves around a cop and a businessman joining hands to nab a serial killer. How they capture him through a series of elaborate games forms the crux of the story.
