Are Munmun Dutta-Raj Anadkat Engaged? Here's The Truth

Rumours about the engagement of 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' stars Munmun Dutta and Raj Anadkat have recently surfaced. Reports suggested they got engaged in Vadodara in Gujarat.

However, both actors have since denied these rumours. Clarifying the speculations, Dutta told The Times Of India: "This news is RIDICULOUS, Fake and LUDICROUS. Zero ounce of truth in itâ€æ And frankly, I don't want to give my energy to this fake thing that keeps coming up again and again."

On his Instagram stories, Raj wrote, "Hello Everyone, Just to clear things up, the news you've been seeing on social media is false and baseless. Team Raj Anadkat."

Earlier, a source had told News18 that the engagement was held a few days ago. The source said, "The two apparently exchanged rings in Vadodara (Gujarat). Munmun and Raj's families have accepted their relationship and they were also present at the ceremony. They have been dating ever since Raj joined Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. It was very evident. Everyone on the sets knew about it. In fact, some people were certain that Munmun and Raj would get married eventually. Therefore, it is not shocking that they are engaged now."

The rumours of their relationship had first cropped up in 2021. Clarifying the speculations then, he had then written, "To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussion that can happen in my life because of your 'COOKED UP' (false) stories and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelise your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense."

Munmun and Raj portrayed the roles of Babita Iyer and Tappu, respectively, on the hit TV series 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah' which recently reached the milestone of 4,000 episodes.
