Amruthadhare Serial Star Shruti Stabbed by Husband; Case Registered for Domestic Abuse

A shocking incident has emerged involving Shruti, an actress from the popular Kannada serial "Amruthadhare." Her husband, Amaresh, allegedly attacked her with a knife on July 4. The attack left Shruti seriously injured, and she was quickly taken to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru. Police have since arrested Amaresh.

Shruti, known for her roles in several Kannada serials and as a private channel host, faced this brutal attack in Muneshwara Layout under Hanumanth Nagar police jurisdiction. Amaresh reportedly used pepper spray before stabbing her in the neck, ribs, and thigh. He then allegedly attempted to murder her by banging her head against a wall.

Domestic Disputes and Financial Struggles

The couple had been married for several years after a love marriage and lived in Hanumanth Nagar with their two daughters. However, reports suggest ongoing disputes between them. Shruti had previously moved to her brother's house due to these issues but later reconciled with Amaresh.

Recently, financial problems and personal disagreements have escalated tensions at home. On the day of the incident, after their children left for college, an argument led to Amaresh's violent outburst. Following the attack, Shruti filed a complaint against him at the police station.

Legal Proceedings Underway

Currently, Amaresh is in police custody as investigations continue. Meanwhile, Shruti remains under medical care at Victoria Hospital. The authorities are delving into the circumstances surrounding this domestic violence case to determine further legal actions.

This incident highlights the severe consequences of unresolved domestic conflicts and financial stress within families. It underscores the importance of seeking help and addressing issues before they escalate into violence.
