Amitabh Bachchan Gifts 50 Crore Bungalow To Daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda

Actor Amitabh Bachchan, popularly known as the Shahanshah of Bollywood, isn't just a legendary actor but also a doting father. He often expresses his love and affection towards his family through his blogs and social media posts. As per the reports, the actor has recently gifted his residence, Prateeksha, to his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda.

Prateeksha, situated in Mumbai's Juhu area, was once Amitabh Bachchan's family home where he lived with his parents, Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji. This iconic bungalow is estimated to be valued at Rs 50 crores.

According to Moneycontrol.com report, a gift deed with a stamp duty of Rs 50.65 lakh was processed on November 8, transferring the ownership of the property from Amitabh Bachchan and his wife Jaya Bachchan to their daughter, Shweta Nanda.

While Amitabh Bachchan has been a dominant figure in Bollywood, his daughter Shweta Bachchan has chosen to stay away from the film industry. She is married to business magnate Nikhil Nanda and has two children, Navya and Agastya. While Navya has ventured into entrepreneurship like her father, Agastya is preparing for his Bollywood debut in Zoya Akhtar's film, "The Archies."

The 81-year-old actor was last seen on the silver screen in Tiger Shroff's movie, "Ganapath: A Hero Is Born." Presently, Amitabh Bachchan is occupied with the filming of "Kalki 2898," sharing the screen with Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan. Additionally, preparations for the next edition of the television game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati 15," are also underway.
