Amid Divorce Rumours, Salman Khan's Comment On Aishwarya Rai's Marriage Goes Viral

It's been nearly 17 years since Aishwarya Rai tied the knot with Abhishek Bachchan in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai back in 2007. Recently, the actress made headlines about Aishwarya and Abhishek possibly separating. But, all the speculations
ended when both of them were spotted at their daughter's school function. Meanwhile, Salman Khan's old reaction is going viral.

While Salman Khan hasn't encountered Aishwarya since the wedding, he maintains a friendly rapport with Abhishek, often exchanging greetings at various events. These interactions bring to mind Salman's rare comment in a 2010 interview, where he expressed happiness about Aishwarya's marriage to Abhishek and being part of the esteemed Bachchan family.

During an appearance on India TV's Aapki Adalat, Salman responded candidly when asked about rumors linking him with Aishwarya Rai. Reflecting on the years gone by, he stated, "She's somebody's wife, and I am very happy that she is married to Abhishek. I think Abhishek is a great guy, (she) married into a great family, and they are very happy together. This is the best thing that any ex-boyfriend would want."

A snippet of this interview recently resurfaced online, creating a viral buzz. Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai are set to celebrate their 17th wedding anniversary this year, and they share a daughter named Aaradhya.

In contrast, Salman Khan has opted to remain unmarried but expressed his desire to have a child last year. He mentioned attempting to have a baby through surrogacy, but changes in surrogacy rules have presented challenges.
