Amazing Working With Rajini Sir: Shruti Haasan On Sharing Screen Space With Superstar In Coolie

Shruti Haasan, known for her versatility, is sharing screen space with Rajinikanth in the film Coolie. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the movie also features Nagarjuna, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, and Upendra.

Scheduled for a 2025 release, Shruti has shared her experiences working with Rajinikanth and Lokesh with Zoom. She also discussed her plans for Diwali 2024.

In the interview, Shruti expressed her excitement about collaborating with Rajinikanth. "It's been amazing working with Rajini sir and a great learning experience!" she said. She appreciated his kindness on set, noting it as a significant lesson in interacting with others.

Shruti has previously worked with Lokesh Kanagaraj in her music video. Reflecting on this collaboration, she stated, "Lokesh was kind enough to star in my music video and I'm always thankful for that." During their earlier project, Lokesh had mentioned Coolie as a potential film.

The actress is thrilled that Coolie became a reality. "It's incredible to be a part of this movie and he's an incredible director," she remarked. Despite being a large-scale project, Shruti noted the fun they had under Lokesh's direction.

As Diwali approaches, Shruti reminisced about her childhood memories in Chennai. She fondly recalled the festive atmosphere filled with "Great food, lots of fun and full of family energy." However, Shruti prefers a more subdued celebration now.

"I am quite low key on Diwali and I enjoy meeting my friends and eating good food," she shared. For Shruti, Diwali is about lights, colour, and celebrating joy with loved ones.
