After Rishab Shetty, RCB Releases Shivaraj Kumar's Video Indicating Name Change
Days after releasing a video of Kannada actor Rishab Shetty, the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has unveiled another video. This time, it has come up with a new promo with Sandalwood superstar Shivaraj Kumar.
Like Shetty's video, Shivanna's clip too indicates that the RCB is going for a name change rather than a spelling change. In the latest clip, the Kannada actor is seen holding a machete, popularly called as 'long' in Kannada slang.

In the promo, he picks up three machetes, each inscribed with a different word: "Royal" on the first, "Challengers" on the second, and "Bangalore" on the third. He muses, "How long this long?" before turning to ask, "Do you understand?"
The video indicates that the RCB will finally become Bengaluru from Bangalore. 17 years after the Indian Premiere League started, the full form of the RCB will change from Royal Challengers Bangalore to Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
In the other video featuring Rishab Shetty, the RCB had also hinted at the name change.
On the work front, Shivaraj Kumar has a few Kannada movies in his hands. He is also working on 'Bhairathi Ranagal', a prequel to his hit movie 'Mufti'. The actor's wife Geetha is contesting in the Shivvamogga Lok Sabha constituency and he will be keeping busy with the campaign works.
