Television actor Kavita Kaushik found herself in a real-life rescue drama after her pet dog Raaka was caught in a gushing waterfall current during a nature trip. Kavita, known for her bold and fearless persona onscreen, lived up to it in real life when she waded into strong waters to save her furry companion.

The incident, which unfolded during a recent outing with her husband Ronnit Biswas, was captured on video and shared by Kavita on her official Instagram handle. Watch the video here.

In the now-viral clip, Kavita and Ronnit can be seen enjoying a quiet moment by a scenic waterfall when Raaka, their pet dog, chases another dog into the water. The situation quickly escalates as both dogs are swept away by a powerful current. Kavita is heard screaming for Raaka to return, before courageously entering the water herself to pull him to safety.

While fans praised her courage-one commenter even called the reel "a short film with drama, action, glamour and a dog sentiment"-many were concerned about the fate of the other dog seen in the video.

"Mam what about the other dog? Is he safe? I'm just concerned as I am also a dog lover," read one concerned comment. Another user echoed the sentiment: "What about the other dog, where is it?"

Kavita addressed the concern in her caption, thanking Mahadev for saving Raaka and admitting they sadly could not locate the other dog.

Kavita, who gained household fame with shows like F.I.R., Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, and C.I.D. had earlier stepped away from mainstream TV citing 'regressive content.' She made her film debut in 2004 with Ek Hasina Thi and was recently seen in Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor.
