Yechury reacts to Left’s Sweet and Sour Election Results
Kerala voted the way it has been doing in many a years now during the assembly election. This year the state voted out Congress led - UDF and voted in LDF. A spirited performance by BJP led - NDA in the state could not arrest the LDF wave.

On the other hand Left and Congress alliance for West Bengal was routed badly by Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress.

Congratulations to all the winners in the five assembly elections and bypolls. May the winners fulfil all the promises made to the people.

Reactions of other CPI and CPI(M) leaders:
"This is a huge win for LDF in Kerala, will bring development for Kerala & take ppl towards a new direction," Prakash Karat, CPI(M).
