HC directs TN Govt to ensure all Govt school have toilets
A division bench comprising Justices S Nagamuthu and Krishnakumar gave the order while hearing a PIL on toilet facilities in government schools, filed by Anandharaj, an advocate.
Madurai, Nov 25: The Madurai bench of the Madras High Court today directed Tamil Nadu Government to ensure that all the government schools in the state have toilet facility before the academic year 2018-2019.

A division bench comprising Justices S Nagamuthu and Krishnakumar gave the order while hearing a PIL on toilet facilities in government schools, filed by Anandharaj, an advocate, and asked the Education Department officials to file a report on the status of toilet facilities in the schools.
The bench also ordered that sanitary staff and night watchman should be appointed in all the schools.
