Under the revised policy, candidates who are not satisfied with the outcome of their verification request will now get an opportunity to personally inspect their evaluated answer sheets.
Here's What Has Been Modified
Based on the CBSE new policy, the students who applied for marks verification and received no change can now visit their designated CBSE Regional Office to inspect their answer books. One must know that earlier the students had no choice to physically review their answer sheets which later ended up with concerns that there might have been an error in the assessment.
What led CBSE Come Up With This Step?
By allowing students to inspect their answer books, CBSE aims to provide greater clarity regarding the evaluation process. It will also help students understand how marks were awarded and whether there were any discrepancies in the assessment.
The board believes that this step could reduce dissatisfaction among students and parents who remain unconvinced after receiving a "No-Change" status during verification.
CBSE To Release Inspection Schedule Soon
In an official notice, CBSE stated that students who applied for verification and whose results showed no change in marks would be given the option to inspect their answer books at the concerned regional office.
The board has also said that the detailed schedule and guidelines for the inspection process will be announced soon.
Students are advised to keep checking official CBSE communication channels for updates regarding dates, procedures and other important instructions.
Over 87% Revaluation Results Released
Along with the policy update, CBSE has also shared an update regarding verification and re-evaluation results.
The board announced that outcomes for more than 87 per cent of students who applied for verification and re-evaluation have already been released.
According to CBSE, the remaining results will be declared in phases, and the entire process is expected to be completed soon.
In a message shared with students, the board said it has begun releasing Class 12 verification and re-evaluation outcomes and assured candidates that pending applications are being processed.
