Will It Rain In Chennai? What Weather Looks Like in TN Capital For Next 2 Days

Chennai and several other parts of Tamil Nadu are predicted to get moderate to heavy rains for the next 3-4 days, the Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) said on Sunday.

"Thunderstorm and lightning at one or two places with light to moderate rain at a few places is likely to occur over Tamilnadu, Puducherry & Karaikal area. Heavy rain is likely to occur at one or two places over Nilgiris and Ghat areas of Coimbatore districts," a statement from the weather-monitoring agency said.

According to weather blogger Srikanth, under the influence of the Cyclonic Circulation over Central #India, the Monsoon will remain vigorous with widespread heavy #Rains likely along the Ghats between Maharashtra and North Kerala. Like yesterday some fast-moving thunderstorms may happen over North Tamil Nadu, he stated.

Chennai can expect generally cloudy skies with the possibility of thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by light or moderate rain in certain areas on Monday. The maximum temperature is projected to reach around 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature is anticipated to be around 26 degrees Celsius.

On the other hand, the temperature in parts of Tamil Nadu dipped following the heavy rainfall on Saturday and Sunday.
