The netizens have Chennai Airport authorities after dogs were spotted roaming in the airport premises in a viral video.

Sharing a video, a news channel reported about the dog menace in the airport. As the clip went viral, netizens added humour to the situation.

One user said, "They are sniffer dogs helping authorities..." The second user commented, "Pet friendly and inclusive airport."

The third user said, "Most canine friendly airport in India is a good way to spin it." Another netizen stated, "Wow Dravidian model governance reached Intnl airport."

However, users also criticised the authorities for failing to maintain standards. Recalling an incident, a user said, "Last week I went L&T office inside airport and couldn't go to site coz of dog menace walking and roaring against people. What AAI is doing on this I don't know. After biting some people something will happen. The only main city under aai."

Criticising the airport officials in strong words, a netizen commented, "Authorities must be ashamed of themselves! The impression about Chennai / TN will be tarnished! Don't understand what is the responsibilities of the authorities who r responsible for managing such an important infrastructure?"

Mocking the current situation of the state, another user said, "Lol dog friendly airport, buffalo friendly beaches. Singara Chennai indeed."

Responding to the news report, the official X handle of AAI Chennai Airport said, "Chennai Airport is complying with Animal Welfare Board guidelines and has tied up with Municipal authorities for administering Anti-Rabies Vaccines and Animal Birth Control (ABC-ARV program) for dealing with stray dogs. Thanks."
