Who Is Vetri Duraisamy? Former Chennai Mayor’s Son Missing After Car Incident In Sutlej River

Vetri Duraisamy, the son of former Chennai Mayor Saidai Duraisamy and acclaimed director of the film 'Endraavathu Oru Naal,' has gone missing following a car incident near the Sutlej river in Himachal Pradesh. The incident occurred as he was en route to a picnic spot at Kashang Nala NH 05. This development has raised concerns and led to an intensified search operation to locate the filmmaker.

Reports suggest that Vetri Duraisamy's vehicle plunged into the Sutlej river during the journey. One of the passengers traveling with him was rescued with injuries and promptly admitted to a nearby hospital. There were three people present in the car.

Unfortunately, the car's driver, identified as Tenzin, was found dead at the scene. As of now, Vetri Duraisamy remains missing, prompting authorities to conduct an extensive search in the area.

According to police, an accident occurred at Kashang Nala NH-05, involving an Innova Car with registration number HP01AA-1111. The vehicle rolled down from National Highway-05 into the Sutlej River. The individuals in the car are identified as follows:

1. Gobi Nath, son of Selvaraj, residing at Palayam, Vellakovil, Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu 638111, aged 32 years (Injured and admitted to RH R/Peo)
2. Vetri Duraisamy, son of S. Duraisamy, residing at HNO 28, 1st Main Road, C IT Nagar, Nandanam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu- 600035, aged 45 years (Missing)
