Who is Tanmaya?

Tanmaya Udhayanidhi was born on April 11, 2006, and is currently 19 years old. She is the daughter of Udhayanidhi and Kiruthiga and the granddaughter of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Her paternal great-grandfather was the late M. Karunanidhi, one of Tamil Nadu's most influential political figures.

Interestingly, it is reported that Tanmaya's name was chosen by her elder brother, Inbanithi, affectionately known as Inban. This reportedly marked a departure from the long-standing family custom where the eldest member - traditionally M. Karunanidhi - would name newborns in the family.
