UPSC Exam Toppers From Tamil Nadu: B Sivachandran, AS Gee Gee In Top 25 List

UPSC Exam Toppers 2025: B Sivachandran and Gee Gee AS from Tamil Nadu are in the list of top 25 rank holders in the UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Final Result 2024. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 on Tuesday.

This year, Shakti Dubey has been declared the national topper as he secured the All India Rank 1, followed by Harshita Goyal at Rank 2.

This year, a total of 1,129 vacancies will be filled through the CSE. These include:

• 180 posts in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
• 55 in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
• 147 in the Indian Police Service (IPS)
• 605 in Central Services Group 'A'
• 142 in Group 'B' Services

A proud moment for Tamil Nadu as B. Sivachandran secured 23rd rank nationwide, emerging as the state topper. He prepared under the 'Naan Mudhalvan' scheme, a state-run skill development initiative. Alongside Sivachandran, 18 other students trained under the same scheme also cleared the exam.

Candidates Kamaraj and Sankarapandian, who appeared for the exam in Tamil medium, have also successfully cleared the exam.

About Naan Mudhalvan Scheme: Managed by the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC) and led by IAS officer Innocent Divya, the Naan Mudhalvan platform provides career guidance, competitive exam training, skill-building programs, and entrepreneurship support. So far, the scheme has impacted over 28 lakh students across the state.
