TN YouTuber Irfan Says Sorry To Health Officials For Gender Reveal Video; Public Apology Soon

Tamil Nadu's Health Department issued a notice to YouTuber Irfan on Tuesday after he revealed the gender of his unborn child in YouTube videos. The notice, sent via WhatsApp and email according to Thanthi TV, requested an explanation for his actions.

Reports claim Irfan apologized to health officials and promised a public apology video. However, legal action will continue as the PCPNDT Act of 1994 prohibits revealing a fetus's gender in India, regardless of where the test is conducted.

The Act, also known as the Prohibition of Sex Selection Act, aims to curb female feticide. Irfan's test, performed legally in Dubai, documented the process in two videos. These videos chronicled his wife Aaliya's experience and featured a "Gender Reveal Party."

The first video showed the couple visiting a hospital, interacting with medical professionals, and Aaliya undergoing the procedure. Interestingly, Irfan acknowledged the illegality of the practice in India.

The second video showcased the gender reveal party attended by family, friends, and actress Maya S Krishnan, known from 'Bigg Boss Tamil 7.' Both videos garnered significant attention on social media.

On April 28, the couple had announced the news of her pregnancy. In the post, Irfan wrote, "Our family is about to Grow!!! We are happy to announce that WE ARE PREGNANT Will we have a he? Or will we have a she? BTW I want a girl baby.

Irfan, known for his multifaceted presence as a social media influencer and YouTuber, has been garnering attention with his engaging content, captivating audiences through his charm and skill. His recent appearance as a contestant on the renowned cooking reality show 'Cooku With Comali Season 5', has helped him to increase his fan base.
