TN Chief Electoral Officer briefs political parties about poll regulations
Chennai, Mar 27: In view of the May 16 Assembly polls, Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Rajesh Lakhoni on Saturday held a review meeting with political parties and briefed about them about the rules and regulations to be followed during the electioneering.
During the meeting held at the Secretariat, the CEO explained rules and regulations for political parties in taking up campaigns and usage of vehicles among others, an official release said.

It was also explained in detail to the parties on use of electronic media for poll advertisements, maintaining income and expenditure statement by the parties and candidates.
Tamil Nadu which has 234 assembly constituencies goes to polls in a single phase on May 16.
