The interior regions were pounded with widespread rains, and the list of heavy rainfall stations is extensive. As expected, the western part of KTCC (Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Chennai, and Chengalpattu) experienced significant rainfall, with Tambaram recording 81 mm and Tiruttani 104 mm. Parts of Chennai's western belt also received rain, with Mugalivakkam recording 20 mm. Today, we can expect a similar scenario, with widespread rains across Tamil Nadu. However, the north coastal belts may miss out, but sudden rains are still possible in KTCC and other coastal areas."
