Tamil Nadu SSLC Exam Results 2025: Is This The Date When TN Class 10 Results Will Be Declared?
Tamil Nadu SSLC Results 2025 Date: Over 9 lakh students are waiting for the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate or the SSLC in 2025. The Directorate of Government Examinations successfully conducted the exams between March 28 and April 15.
The state board conducted the exams in 4,113 examination centres across Tamil Nadu. Out of 9.13 registered students, 4,46,471 are boys and 4,40,499 are girls. A total of 12,487 students have enrolled for the SSLC exams in 2025.

The subjects include Part 1 (Language), Part 2 (English, Science, Social Science, and Mathematics). The respective schools conducted the practical exams in February.
To pass, candidates must secure at least 35% marks in each subject. Those who fail in one or more subjects will get a chance to appear for compartmental exams later.
As per the earlier reports, the DGE was expected to announce the results on May 9 or May 16. However, it is now said that the results is likely to be out on May 19.
However, the DGE is yet to formally announce the date of result announcement.
Last year, the DGE had declared the class 10 results on May 10 while it was announced on May 19 in 2023.
Last year, 9,08,080 students appeared, recording a pass percentage of 91.55%-a marginal increase of 0.16% from 2023.
Rechecking & Supplementary Exams
After the results are announced, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu, will open rechecking and retotalling applications for students who wish to verify their marks. Additionally, supplementary exams will be held for those who couldn't clear the main exams.
How to Check TN SSLC Results 2025
Students can access their results online via these steps:
- Visit the official websites: tnresults.nic.in or results.shiksha/tamil-nadu.
- Select "TN SSLC Result 2025."
- Enter your Hall Ticket Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
- View and download your marksheet for future reference.

Class 12 Exam Results
The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu conducted Class 12 exams between March 3 to 25 in 2025. This year, over 8 lakh students appeared for the exams.
The results are announced on the DGE's official website- tnresults.nic.in or dge.tn.gov.in. Students can access their mark sheets by entering their registration number and date of birth (in dd/mm/yyyy format). The result is likely to be out on May 9.
