As far as Chennai is concerned, the electricity department said that there will be power cut between 9 am and 2 pm in the below areas:

Adyar: Hareyamman Koil Street, Vannandurai, Jayaram Avenue, Ramasamy Avenue, Abranji Avenue, SBI Colony, Besant Nagar, Shastri Nagar 7th to 13th cross streets and 1st Main Road.
