Tamil Nadu Lok Sabha Predictions: Annamalai-Led BJP Shock AIADMK? Check Exit Poll Results

Several pre-poll surveys had indicated that the BJP is set to spring a surprise in Tamil Nadu in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Since the appointment of former IPS officer K. Annamalai as the state BJP Chief, the party has managed to make some impact on Tamil Nadu politics. The BJP has been positioning itself as the primary opposition in the state.

Pre-poll surveys indicate that the BJP could achieve a double-digit vote share this time and might win as many as 4-5 seats on its own. The party has set its sights on key constituencies, including Coimbatore and Kanniyakumari.

The BJP has also formed alliances with smaller parties such as Dr. Ramdoss' Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK), TTV Dhinakaran's Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK), and GK Vasan-led Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar).

Some surveys had claimed that the BJP might get more vote share than the AIADMK while the DMK and the Congress will win maximum number of seats.
